GOOD NEWS GANG

The GNG (Christian youth group for 5-15yrs) met in the Church on Thurs 30th June to prepare for the next Family Service on 10th July - Sea Sunday. We prayed for all those who work at sea to bring us things we need - food, clothes and mobile phones, and we prayed for those who work for the Mission to Seafarers who help in ports around the world. After some tea and cakes (thank you Summer Teas team), we cut out and coloured some ships, then painted a sea-scape poster and made an animated film.
Here's a picture of the poster with some of our ships. We read about the way that all of us have our part to play in God's creation (1 Corinthians 12). The GNG will read this in church on Sea Sunday (10th July) at 11:15.
Hope to see you there.
