St Piran's Day Celebration

St Piran's Day Celebration by the Good News Gang. The story of St Piran was performed as a puppet theatre play on Sunday 6th March in the church. After a special GNG lunch in the Church Room we all rehearsed for the play. The puppets and all the artwork had been created by GNG. At 3:30pm the stage was set and the audience settled for the story of St Piran's arrival in Cornwall and his first followers - Badger, Fox, Boar and Chough. With extra singing and acting from the Perran Brownies, the story finished with tea and saffron cake back in the Church Room. What a show! You had to be there to feel the excitement.
