Look who "Dropped In For Coffee"

At the end of this Thursday  morning's "Drop in for Coffee" we were given a musical treat by the newly formed "Midway Quartet" who dropped in and not only entertained us but provided those present with a delicious soup lunch (thanks to Liz). We were even more privileged as this was their first public performance, clearly the first of many.

The Good news gang

Good News Gang met in the Church Room on Thursday 6th December.  We read the bible readings for the Family Service coming up on Sunday 9th Dec.  They're about preparing for the coming of Christ - getting our houses in order.  Following this theme we made Shadow Puppets of people getting things in order: doing the dishes, hanging out washing, decorating a Christmas tree.  There was also time to practice some songs, to pray and to say 'thank you' for all the good things that have happened to us since we last met.  

If you're between ages 5 and 16 yrs and would like to come along for art, craft, prayer and music then our next meeting is on Thursday 10th January.
