HARVEST CELEBRATIONS

Our Harvest Festival took place on Sunday 9th October and was followed by a "Harvest of Talents" which included readings, poetry, and music in a variety of forms. The pictures shows the "Perranaz" performing and Bob and Tom singing with guitar their renditions.

The Harvest Festivities were concluded by a Bring and Buy stall in the Church Room which raised an excellent £170, all of which will be donated to ShelterBox. Thanks to all who provided and bought the goods and Andrea for her excellent support in setting up, pricing and selling the items on offer.

GOOD NEWS GANG

The Good News Gang met in the Church Room on Thursday to think about Harvest and sharing all the good things from God. We began making decorations for the Harvest Service this Sunday (9th Oct at 11:15am). After that we read about the fish and loaves feeding the 5000, and we worked on a Lunch Box activity about sharing. We'll be doing that activity in church. All our good news was told to each other - new schools, new friends and we sang some songs. The next GNG meeting will be on Thursday 3rd November - see you there.

Bishop Tim's Visit

Sunday the 2nd October - the Sun shone for the visit of Bishop Tim when he walked with a band of Pilgrims from Marazion to Perranuthnoe to see and bless the refurbished Church Room. Many thanks to all who came to support this "mile stone" event and to those who provided delicious tea and cakes which were appreciated by everyone.
