On Sunday 17th April the Churches in the United Benefice of Mounts Bay (which includes Perranuthnoe) travelled through the streets of Marazion telling the story of Jesus' last days. The procession and service started at the Community Centre, stopping at the Methodist Chapel, Gwelva Landing and finally arriving on the beach in front of St Michael's Mount. It was a wonderful experience for all who took part and those who came to watch as the procession recaptured some of the feeling of Jesus' first ride into Jerusalem - a spontaneous, exiting, dramatic and rather chaotic event, very much like the first Palm Sunday - the following images provide a flavour of this moving experience.
